Fairwood Residence AFH is located in the quiet Fairwood Green neighborhood. Located South-east of Renton near a golf course, about 15 minutes away from ValleyMedicalCenter, close to the bus line, and is couple of blocks away from Fairwood shopping center.

Fairwood Residence AFH is owned and operated by an LPN who is registered by the state of Washington,  with over 15 years experience in the health care industry. His experience includes working with vulnerable residents in a nursing home and rehabilitation setting. He will advocate for the residents, provide weekly assessments and communicate with the doctors and family to ensure all medical needs and interventions are met.

Fairwood Residence AFH offers a wonderful home setting. It includes a kitchen, dining room with a table of six, a cozy living room with a love seat, sofa, a coffee table, entertainment center with a big screen plasma TV, and a fire place.

Fairwood Residence Adult Family Home is licensed for maximum of five residents. It provides the home-like atmosphere of a residential setting with wheelchair accessability all around the house including the backyard.  Fairwood Residence AFH provides furnished and unfurnished bedrooms. 

Fairwood Residence Adult Family Home specializes in geriatric, mental health, alzheimer and dementia residents.

 

Commitment to Care

 

The Owner/Resident care Manager Herman is commited to the care of the residents, Herman's credentials are, LPN, NAC, a courses on AFH Administration, Fundamentals of Care giving, Nurse Delegation, First Aid, CPR and Safe Food Handling. Manager Courses in Dementia and mental Health, 48 hours administrator training, elderly care, Pharmacy technician, Health care administration, Ergonomics Awareness, and computer trainings.

 

Caregivers

All caregivers have taken and passed the NAC/Home health aide training, Fundamentals of Care-giving as well as the Nurse Delegation classes offered by the State of Washington. They all have proven First Aid and CPR skills.
